The Sr. Electrical Engineer is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for the electronic and electrical hardware design that meets client expectations for development products. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including the technical design aspects, development and manufacturing documentation, testing, and safety considerations of the products being developed. The Sr. Electrical Engineer must ensure that all work complies with the established Quality System Procedures and Work Instructions, demonstrating a commitment to quality and excellence in engineering practices. In this role, the Sr. Electrical Engineer is expected to operate with minimal direction, managing complex and multiple projects simultaneously. This position not only requires technical expertise but also a leadership role within the engineering team. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will mentor and train other team members, providing guidance in technically challenging situations and fostering a collaborative work environment. The ability to interact effectively with customers, both in-house and at their locations, is essential for understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with the final product. The responsibilities of the Sr. Electrical Engineer include designing electronic hardware, developing documentation, and reviewing and approving manufacturing documentation. This includes specifying and approving components, developing design plans, and engineering specifications for the electrical aspects of product designs. Additionally, the engineer will create product and system-level test plans for verification and validation processes, as well as manufacturing test procedures and equipment. The role also involves identifying and communicating project needs that may extend beyond the electrical engineering domain, supporting new concept work, and evaluating the feasibility of proposed projects. The Sr. Electrical Engineer is expected to take ownership of their tasks, manage their time effectively, and prioritize work to meet organizational goals while acting as a mentor to less experienced engineers.
