About The Position
As a Senior Electrical Engineer at BW Design Group, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality electrical design services for industrial manufacturing clients across various sectors, including advanced technology, food and beverage, life sciences, and heavy industrial. You will work in a collaborative environment, engaging with seasoned leaders and technical specialists to solve complex engineering challenges and implement innovative solutions that enhance client performance and achieve their critical goals. Your role will involve both individual and team-based projects, where you will be empowered to make a significant impact on the success of our clients and the organization as a whole. In this position, you will be responsible for designing power distribution, motor control, lighting, and grounding systems for industrial facilities. You will utilize advanced software tools such as Revit and AutoCAD to produce detailed construction drawings and employ SKM and EasyPower for modeling electrical power systems, conducting short circuit analyses, arc flash studies, and overcurrent device coordination. Your expertise will also extend to designing lighting systems for various environments using Visual software, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client specifications. You will be involved in all phases of project development, from conceptual design through to detailed execution, and will present your design progress to clients both in-person and virtually. Your responsibilities will include reviewing contractor submittals, responding to requests for information (RFIs), and conducting site observations to verify installation compliance. This role requires a proactive approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong focus on client relationships and project outcomes.
