About the position

The Sr. Electrical Hardware Engineer - IoT position involves developing and validating board-level hardware for various applications, including wireless communications and IoT systems. This role is crucial for enhancing utility management technology, contributing to the positive impact on communities through efficient water and power management. The engineer will work in a supportive, engineering-centric environment that values input and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate board-level hardware for wireless communications and IoT systems.
  • Engage in high-speed digital and analog development, including design and validation using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • Support projects related to regulatory compliance, reliability analysis, and testing.
  • Assist in component selection and manufacturing support for test/fixtures definition.

Requirements

  • Expertise in development and validation of MPU, MCU, NAND, LPDDRx, high-speed peripherals (USB, SDIO, QSPI, etc.), LDOs, DC-DC regulators, and Op-amps.
  • 10+ years of experience in full life-cycle electronic hardware development at the board level.
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complicated and random circuitry issues.
  • Working knowledge of laboratory instruments and equipment as well as test automation.
  • BSEE (MSEE is a plus).

  • RF circuit experience.
