About the position

As a Senior Electrical/Hardware Engineer at Lockheed Martin, you will be responsible for designing and fabricating Special Test Equipment for testing RF, Digital, Analog, and Power modules, subsystems, and systems. This role involves creating both manual and automated test solutions, as well as integrating and validating test software. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to advancing defense technology and solving complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate Special Test Equipment for testing RF/Digital/Analog/Power modules.
• Develop test solutions including bench-top manual tests and automated test programs.
• Integrate and validate test software for production test solutions.
• Work with commercial test equipment including RF instruments and data acquisition units.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience; or 3 years with a related master's degree.
• Experience with 2-D CAD layout and test solution development (hardware).
• Familiarity with commercial test equipment including RF instruments and data acquisition units.
• Test automation design and measurement experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of MATLAB.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Creo/SolidWorks.
• Ability to start from design requirements and carry through to a finished test solution.
• General knowledge of software as it applies to test development.
