About the position

As part of the Sprinklr Culture and Talent (C&T) organization, the Sr. Employee Relations Partner will be the sole Employee Relationships (ER) expert in the Americas. This role will provide leaders with guidance in employee matters related to, but not limited to, performance, conduct, team member complaints, and investigations. They will play a critical role in the employee life cycle, many times engaging during stressful or uncomfortable circumstances. They will also be focused on the team member experience by partnering with leaders to provide performance coaching consultation and leadership development. This role will also be involved in process, policy formulation, and training. They will manage complex ER cases from intake to resolution while ensuring that team members are treated fairly and with respect along the way. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to build and own a very important experience within C&T. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the US but must be open to working across time zones. The Sr. Employee Relations Partner will conduct complex investigations and manage cases for a wide variety of allegations including, but not limited to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and workplace violence. They will manage performance and conduct-related concerns by providing consultation to leaders as the ER subject matter expert. Collaboration with leaders to produce quality performance management documents including corrective action, performance improvement plans, and other coaching documents will be essential. The role also involves partnering with C&T Business Partners and field leaders to create strategic approaches to performance management, talent assessment, leadership development, and training. The partner will produce highly detailed written responses and communications for employees and leaders, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate regularly with reporting parties regarding pending investigations. They will consult with in-house employment attorneys to ensure compliance and consistent interpretation of relevant laws and regulations and application of company policies and procedures. The role requires developing effective relationships with team members, C&T, and leaders to become a trusted partner, identifying macro trends and themes related to ER concerns, and providing reports with insights to C&T Business Partners and field partners.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex investigations and manage cases for a wide variety of allegations including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and workplace violence.
  • Manage performance and conduct-related concerns by providing consultation to leaders as the ER subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with leaders to produce quality performance management documents including corrective action, performance improvement plans, and other coaching documents.
  • Partner with C&T Business Partners and field leaders to create strategic approaches to performance management, talent assessment, leadership development, and training.
  • Produce highly detailed written responses and communications for employees and leaders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update cases in the case management system promptly.
  • Communicate regularly with reporting parties, C&T, and leadership regarding pending investigations and provide timely investigation reports with supporting documentation.
  • Consult with in-house employment attorneys to ensure compliance and consistent interpretation of relevant laws and regulations and application of company policies and procedures.
  • Apply independent judgment when providing guidance to C&T and leaders in the resolution of workplace concerns.
  • Develop effective relationships with team members, C&T, and leaders to become a trusted partner.
  • Identify macro trends and themes as it relates to ER concerns and create, recommend, and influence positive change to solve problems at their core.
  • Provide reports with insights to C&T Business Partners and field partners (i.e., trends & root cause analysis).
  • Participate in projects led by the ER team as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of human resources experience.
  • At least 5 years specifically within employee relations and 3+ years as either a Generalist or Human Resources Business Partner.
  • Strong understanding of Labor Laws within the Americas; global experience is a plus.
  • Passionate about business and can consistently bring an innovative approach to solutions.
  • Pursuit and study of global human resources best practices and certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
  • Collaborative and influential leadership style that inspires others into action.
