About the position

Aristocrat Technologies is seeking a People & Culture Employee Relations Specialist within the MyP&C Global Operations team for a full-time role. The successful candidate will manage employee relations tasks, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role requires a high level of accountability for operational results and involves acting as a subject matter expert in employee relations processes and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations regarding workplace issues, whistleblower complaints, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Respond to requests, assist employees and managers, document findings, make recommendations, and drive appropriate actions to resolve complex employee-related matters in a timely manner.
  • Partner with P&C business partners to assess and perform employee relations work, determine corrective actions, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure corrective actions are fair, consistent, and comply with relevant laws and company standards.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, produce metrics, and create reports with recommended actions regarding employee relations initiatives.
  • Maintain comprehensive and detailed records within a case tool (ServiceNow) while ensuring confidentiality and preparing documentation for legal or governmental agencies.
  • Represent Aristocrat in front of regulatory and governmental agencies regarding unemployment filings and other employee relations matters.
  • Conduct exit interviews and surveys to analyze feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify, create, maintain, and obtain approval for employee/labor relations policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee and labor relations or as a P&C business partner.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of labor laws, investigations, conflict resolution, and employee relations best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and provide effective service and support for complex ER inquiries.
  • Proven ability to conduct formal investigations and document findings for legal and audit purposes.
  • Ability to research information, analyze data, and use sound judgment to draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to establish credibility and build rapport in a virtual setting.
  • Excellent consultative, listening, and communication skills; ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar case management tools.
  • Knowledge of gaming industry regulations and compliance requirements.
