The internship will focus on providing technical support for our commercial and industrial programs, which help customers use energy more efficiently. You will assist in facilitating program implementation, reviewing customer projects, supporting team members, and tackling key process improvement projects. Successful candidates will have an interest in carbon reduction and learning about how the utility world is transforming through efficiency improvement and electrification. The position will focus on the equipment that commercial and industrial customers use and how we interact with them. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential to share technical information and work collaboratively across internal and external teams. This is a school year and summer opportunity, with a start date of January 2025, requiring full-time work during the summer and 15-20 hours per week during the school semester.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs.
  • Facilitate program implementation and review customer projects.
  • Support team members in various tasks related to energy solutions.
  • Tackle key process improvement projects within the organization.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program, studying areas such as electrical, mechanical, civil, and chemical engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in data analytics.
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics.
