Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Engineer to join our Application Support Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) by providing high-quality technical support for two main applications: Emerson Syncade and DeltaV. The successful candidate will engage with a remote team of engineers, ensuring they meet performance targets while identifying opportunities for process improvements. The Lead Engineer will work closely with the Sr. Manager Front Line Application Support and will be responsible for direct communication with site leads and approximately 8+ remote engineers. This position requires a proactive approach to triaging and resolving technical issues, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and leading initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of support services. The Application Support Sr. Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of the applications, ensuring that the team provides timely and effective support to users worldwide. This includes leading meetings, reporting on planned outages, and developing policies and procedures that comply with relevant regulations. The candidate will also be responsible for mentoring team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. The role demands a strong focus on identifying and resolving complex technical issues, documenting processes, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of EMES infrastructure and application functionalities. Participation in training and development activities is also expected to enhance skills and knowledge in this dynamic environment.
