About The Position
The position requires a strong technical background in functional safety engineering for Electric Vehicles, particularly at the electric powertrain level. This includes working with all High Voltage Components, both Hardware and Software. The role involves performing various activities as per ISO 26262 standards, including Parts 3, 4, 5, and 6. The candidate will be responsible for interpreting design documents, conducting verification analyses, and participating in product design reviews to ensure functional safety is integrated throughout the product lifecycle. Additionally, the role includes evaluating new safety concepts, assessing supplier compliance, and delivering safety work products from item definition to safety case. The candidate should also possess strong communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and a passion for fostering functional safety skills among colleagues.
