The position is responsible for the daily review of the company's failure data reporting, driving the forensic process and analytical studies, and ensuring the development and tracking of corrective actions are deployed fleet-wide. This role requires a proactive approach to analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing corrective action plans to enhance the reliability of our drilling operations. Key responsibilities include planning and executing data analytics projects in collaboration with various departments such as Engineering, Technical Services, Operations Assurance, Sustainability, and Equipment Manufacturers. This involves overseeing all phases of projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with company policies and project objectives. The role also entails reviewing technical events and their root causes, coordinating the implementation of analytics models based on historical events, and identifying opportunities to utilize AI for enhancing maintenance strategies. Additionally, the position requires following up with the fleet on equipment alarms, coaching and training the workforce on the usage of dashboards and analytics to monitor equipment health and operational requirements. The successful candidate will coordinate and monitor the integration of data applications to the CMMS, ensuring the correct flow of automatic processes and their adoption by the fleet. Working directly with IT to monitor equipment data uptime and maintaining the required data setup in the asset framework is also a critical aspect of this role. Reporting and communicating internally about potential models and ongoing progress on Data Analytics initiatives, as well as coordinating both internal and external meetings to ensure alignment on analytics and reliability initiatives, are essential functions of this position.
