The GBI team is dedicated to providing data analytics, machine learning, and data science solutions to various Apple business groups, leveraging a diverse technology stack that includes Snowflake, HANA, and SingleStore, among others. This role is centered around driving project management for significant business initiatives, requiring a proactive and collaborative approach to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. As an Engineering Program Manager (EPM), you will be responsible for overseeing the software development life cycle (SDLC) efforts, which includes defining, scheduling, prioritizing, tracking, measuring, and communicating project statuses. You will facilitate requirements brainstorming and design review sessions with both internal and external partners, ensuring that functionalities and features are well understood and implemented. Identifying and mitigating risks, removing roadblocks, and facilitating communication between teams are critical aspects of this role. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining the project roadmap, overseeing resource capacity and funding at the portfolio level, and rolling out project frameworks and governance. Your ability to lead and develop new processes will be highly valued, as Apple continuously seeks to innovate and improve its operations.
