About the position

The Sr. Engineering Technician position at Advantage Technical Services involves leading assembly and sub-assembly processes for new products, particularly in support of a major motorcycle company. This role requires proficiency in various engineering and technical skills, with a focus on improving assembly workflows and addressing floor issues. The position is initially contract-based with the potential to transition to a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly and sub-assembly processes for new products.
• Conduct Elemental Time studies to improve efficiency.
• Create and analyze Automotive PFMEAS and Process flow diagrams.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows.
• Address and resolve floor issues related to assembly cells.
• Read and interpret blueprints for assembly processes.
• Perform administrative engineering tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient in Automotive PFMEAS and Process flow diagrams.
• Skilled in AutoCAD and 2D plant cell layout.
• Experience in conducting Elemental Time studies.
• Ability to read blueprints and develop SOPs.
