About the position

The Sr. Enterprise Application Developer plays a crucial role in providing technical advice throughout the full life cycle of software development, support, and operation of various application areas including Finance, Supply Chain, and Asset Management. This position requires a deep understanding of both packaged enterprise applications and internally developed software solutions. The developer will collaborate with team members to establish best practices, conduct code and process reviews, and identify initiatives that can enhance both IT and business operations. In addition to these responsibilities, the Sr. Enterprise Application Developer will lead project initiatives and manage the complete life cycle of software development and operations. This includes design, development, integration, testing, and release activities. The role is integral to ensuring that the applications meet the needs of the organization and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, particularly in PeopleSoft utilities, and experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is preferred. The position is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is part of Temple Health, a dynamic network committed to advancing medical science and education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice for full life cycle software development, support, and operation of Finance, Supply Chain, and Asset Management applications.
  • Collaborate with team members on best practices and perform code and process reviews.
  • Identify and propose initiatives that enhance IT and business operations.
  • Lead project initiatives and manage full life cycle software development and operations.
  • Oversee design, development, integration, testing, and release activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 3 years of experience in PeopleSoft utilities, Process Scheduler/Monitor, Data mover, Import Manager, and upgrades, relational technology, Query, BI/XML, SQL, and Windows or Linux (Required)
  • 3 years of experience with PeopleSoft Financials and/or Supply Chain programming in a production environment (Required)
  • 1 year of experience working in a healthcare/hospital environment (Preferred)
  • Experience with fluid navigation and development, planning, budgeting, and reporting applications (Preferred)
