About the position

The Sr. ETL Data Integration Developer is responsible for the operational support and development of ETL processes using Informatica IDMC within the healthcare industry. This role involves managing the Informatica environment, optimizing performance, and developing complex ETL processes to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects. The developer will also mentor junior staff and assist in data source analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for the Informatica environment, including automation, job scheduling, and monitoring.
• Administer systems performance and optimize the Informatica environment.
• Develop complex ETL processes to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Marts.
• Assist the Data Warehouse team in completing current initiatives.
• Analyze and evaluate data sources for ETL mapping.
• Design, develop, and implement complex ETL processes.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert and mentor junior staff.
• Document requirements and negotiate commitments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in Informatica ETL Developer role in Data Warehouse projects.
• At least 3 years of experience in design and development of ETL/Data Integration using Informatica Power Center Suite.
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with Erwin data modeling toolset.
• Expertise in database concepts and logical/physical design.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Strong project life cycle experience.
