About the position

The Sr ETL Developer will lead and develop ETL processes, focusing on data extraction, transformation, and loading from various data sources into a data warehouse environment. This role requires strong SQL skills and experience with Redshift and Teradata, as well as the ability to interface with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Write SQL stored procedures for ETL operations.
• Utilize scheduling tools like One Automation to manage workflows.
• Develop design specifications within defined architecture using standard procedures.
• Interface with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Business Clients to clarify requirements.
• Set up complex workflows and schedules for data integration.
• Maintain and enhance existing ETL workflows and code.
• Document installation and operating procedures for ETL processes.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with SQL Query Design in large-scale data warehouse environments.
• 5 years of experience in data collection, database design, and report development.
• Strong background in ETL methods and data warehousing.
• Advanced SQL skills with Teradata and RDBMS like Oracle, MS SQL, DB2.
• Expertise in query optimization and performance-tuning techniques.
• Good knowledge of UNIX programming.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Agile methodology in technical projects.
• Knowledge of Teradata Stored Procedures, BTEQ, and Utilities.
