About the position

The Senior ETL Developer will collaborate with the Corporate IT team to maintain and develop data integration solutions that support the Analytics platform. This role involves aligning solutions with data vault, data mart, dimensional modeling, and ETL standards, utilizing tools such as Matillion and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will translate business and technical requirements into effective data integration designs while supporting Agile processes throughout development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop data integration solutions for the Analytics platform.
• Align solutions with data vault, data mart, dimensional modeling, and ETL standards.
• Translate business and technical requirements into data integration designs.
• Support the Agile process in development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Handle multiple projects in parallel and deliver solution designs.
• Design and develop/review ETL programs using Matillion, DBT, and Python.
• Coach and guide the technical team in ETL job development.
• Perform performance improvement and tuning of data pipelines.
• Conduct technical reviews, data validation, and end-to-end testing of ETL objects.
• Create and update project documentation as per standards.
• Support QA on end-to-end testing and provide project status updates.
• Work with the deployment team on code migration across environments.
• Triage production issues and implement code fixes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in BI project implementation in a large-scale enterprise data warehouse environment.
• Hands-on experience in building large cloud data warehouses using Snowflake, including database architecture design and data transformations.
• Experience with cloud computing services, particularly Azure.
• Expert-level understanding of Agile, SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, GitOps, and ProdOps.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with ETL tools like Matillion, ADF, and DBT.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and familiarity with relational, Vault, and dimensional modeling.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Financial industry data fluency is preferred but not required.
