About the position

The Sr. ETL Developer will be responsible for designing and developing ETL mappings, sessions, and workflows to efficiently load data from source to target databases using Informatica Power Center. This role involves interacting with customers to gather requirements, creating Slowly Changing Dimension mappings, and participating in data modeling and dimensional design for an Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows using Informatica Power Center.
• Interact with customers to gather requirements and business logic for design and development.
• Create Type 1 and Type 2 Slowly Changing Dimension mappings.
• Review Informatica ETL mappings and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Participate in data modeling and implementation of Data Vault methodology.
• Identify Hub, Link, and Satellite tables for data modeling.
• Design Star/Snowflake Data Models for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Write complex SQL scripts to enhance performance by avoiding Informatica look-ups.
• Develop reports and dashboards using KPIs, trend lines, and statistics.

Requirements

• MS (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial) or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in similar technical roles.
