About the position

The ETL Senior Informatica Developer at Wipro is responsible for leading and managing the design and implementation of data integration processes, particularly focusing on ETL development. This role requires extensive experience in IT development, specifically with ETL tools and data warehousing, to support the company's digital transformation initiatives. The position involves collaboration with various teams to ensure data governance and quality while creating centralized data repositories.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage detailed system design for data integration and ingestion processes.
• Coordinate efforts of data modelers and ETL developers in data warehousing projects.
• Implement and enhance Data Governance and Data Quality policies.
• Create development estimates and review business/system specification requirements.
• Author system design specifications and deployment plans.
• Design, create, and maintain a centralized data repository.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall IT development experience.
• Extensive experience with ETL development, particularly using Informatica Powercenter.
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop and Podium technologies.
• Experience in data modeling principles and development best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data lakes and data mart/warehouse builds.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks.
