About the position

Sabre Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced marketing leader to join its Marketing organization. This role is pivotal in creating and managing comprehensive brand and communication activities while collaborating with a diverse set of global stakeholders both within and outside the Marketing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing all internal and external events, including complex marketing events such as industry trade shows and customer-related events. This position requires a strategic thinker who can conduct intake sessions to understand internal needs and ensure the successful execution of events. The marketing leader will partner with Global Comms Events to oversee industry and top-tier Sabre-hosted events, which includes planning, logistics, attendance, presentation materials, and branding. The role also involves securing, managing, and shipping event-branded assets and giveaways, as well as securing speakers for various events. On-site event support is a critical aspect of this position, along with managing all invoicing for the marketing budget. Additionally, the candidate will provide experiential marketing services for Premier Partners and coordinate with other marketing pillars to deliver on partner benefits. Hosting executive webinars, including All Hands and Fireside Chats, and conducting pre/post-event evaluations are also key responsibilities of this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree desired or relevant experience highly preferred, CMP/CMM certifications preferred
  • 5-7 years of corporate event planning and experiential marketing preferred
  • Proven success with meeting planning skills (MPI MBECS standards)
  • Strong/logical decision maker with a critical path and reactionary strength
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, design, and financial skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English
  • Strong understanding of event sustainability and risk management standards
  • Knowledgeable in event production including technical direction and audio-visual
  • Awareness of global meeting trends, locations, and venues worldwide
  • Resilient, flexible and adaptable
  • Unbridled creativity, visionary thinker, and concept design experience
  • Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office tools
  • Domain expertise in the travel industry or with hospitality products a plus
