About the position

The Senior Executive Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to the Chief Quality Officer (CQO) at Emory Healthcare, ensuring the efficient operation of the Office of Quality. This role is pivotal in facilitating communication, managing projects, and maintaining confidentiality while supporting the CQO in achieving strategic goals related to quality and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Quality Officer, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing travel arrangements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the CQO and internal/external stakeholders. Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations with a high level of professionalism.
  • Assist in the coordination of special projects and initiatives related to quality improvement and patient safety. Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
  • Prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, reports, and presentations. Take minutes during meetings and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
  • Work collaboratively with other administrative staff and departments to enhance office efficiency and support the broader goals of Emory Healthcare.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of executive administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong preference for candidates with 5+ years of proven experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leaders.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
