About the position

The Sr Field Service Engineer at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through effective management of customer accounts, delivering outstanding service, and driving revenue growth. This role involves regular preventive maintenance, upgrades, and fostering strong customer relationships to meet and exceed revenue targets. The position requires local travel and the ability to lift equipment, with a focus on providing solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts comprehensively, identifying opportunities to add value through additional services and products.
  • Ensure prompt addressing of customer needs with a focus on achieving a 'first time fix'.
  • Cultivate customer relationships to meet revenue goals, including growth of Field Service Maintenance Agreements and support for sales initiatives.
  • Achieve annual revenue targets with expected year-over-year growth of 8-10%.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance and upgrades as required by technical staff.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, biological science, or military equivalent.
  • 7+ years of prior field service experience in a related field (preferred).
  • Bachelors Degree in a scientific discipline (preferred).
  • Ability to travel locally and overnight 50-75% of the time.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Highly computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, Sales Force, and ServiceMax.
