About the position

The Sr Field Service Engineer at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through effective management of customer accounts, delivering outstanding service, and driving revenue growth. This role involves regular preventive maintenance, addressing customer needs promptly, and cultivating strong customer relationships to achieve annual revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts in their entirety, identifying opportunities to add value through additional services.
  • Ensure customer needs are addressed promptly with a focus on achieving a 'first time fix'.
  • Cultivate customer relationships to meet revenue goals, including growth of Field Service Maintenance Agreements and support of sales initiatives.
  • Achieve annual revenue targets with expected year-over-year growth of 8-10%.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance and upgrades as required by technical staff.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, biological science, or military equivalent.
  • 7+ years of prior field service experience in a related field (preferred).
  • Bachelors Degree in a scientific discipline (preferred).
  • Highly computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, Sales Force, and ServiceMax.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
