As part of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team, the Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting General and Administrative (G&A) functions, including Human Resources (HR) and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) organization. This individual will play a crucial role in developing financial analysis, designing and preparing financial plans and budgets, and effectively communicating financial information to various partners and Docusign leadership. The position is an individual contributor role that reports to the Sr. Director of FP&A - G&A. The Sr. Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with the COO and HR departments to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. This role requires the preparation and presentation of analysis, forecasts, reports, and recommendations to senior business and finance leaders, supporting critical decision-making opportunities. The analyst will assist with monthly reporting packages for senior management and executives, providing insights into budget variances, financial performance, and cost optimization opportunities. In addition, the Sr. Financial Analyst will lead the month-end close processes, including accruals, in collaboration with accounting and corporate FP&A. They will run monthly close flash reporting and analyze monthly expense variances. The role also involves creating presentations to inform senior leadership on department variances and forecasts, tracking and reconciling monthly workforce planning and headcount, and establishing relevant financial metrics to be provided as a dashboard for senior management and business partners. The analyst will drive high-quality, timely analysis that contributes to the high performance and success of the business, including developing analytical models in support of new business opportunities and strategic investments.
