About the position

The Sr. Financial Analyst in Budget & Planning at Colgate-Palmolive plays a crucial role in providing financial analysis and supporting month-end close activities within the Finance department. This position is integral in driving efficiencies, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and interacting with various management levels across the subsidiary. The role involves working on special projects, improving financial reporting, and assisting with SOX compliance and SAP implementation.

Responsibilities

• Work on Special Projects in Budget & Planning and Supply Chain Finance
• Improve month-end closing processes, including Journal Entries, Accruals, and Reconciliation
• Develop new financial reports to support operations and facilitate data-driven decisions
• Assist with SOX compliance, including testing and collaboration with external auditors
• Support implementation and testing for SAP's S4

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance-related discipline
• 2-5+ years experience in a similar/relevant role
• Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Prior experience with BI/BW/Power BI is a plus
• Advanced user knowledge in Excel; knowledge of Google Sheets is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
