About the position

The Sr. Financial Analyst in Budget & Planning at Colgate-Palmolive plays a crucial role in providing financial analysis and supporting month-end close activities within the Finance department. This position is integral in driving efficiencies, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and interacting with various management levels across the subsidiary. The role involves working on special projects, improving financial reporting, and assisting with compliance and testing for SAP's S4.

Responsibilities

• Work on Special Projects in Budget & Planning and Supply Chain Finance
• Improve month-end closing process, including Journal Entries, Accruals, and Reconciliation
• Develop new financial reports to support operations and help the business make data-driven decisions
• Assist with SOX compliance, including testing and working with external public auditors
• Support implementation and testing for SAP's S4

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance-related discipline
• 2-5+ years experience in a similar/relevant role
• Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Advanced user knowledge in Excel; knowledge of Google Sheets a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
