About the position

The Sr. Financial Analyst within the Budget & Planning/CS&L team at Colgate-Palmolive Company is responsible for providing financial analysis and supporting month-end close activities. This role is crucial for driving efficiencies and ensuring compliance with internal controls across various financial activities. The position involves collaboration with management at all levels and contributes to special projects in Budget & Planning and Supply Chain Finance.

Responsibilities

• Work on Special Projects in Budget & Planning and Supply Chain Finance
• Improve month-end closing process, including Journal Entries, Accruals, and Reconciliation
• Develop new financial reports to support operations and facilitate data-driven decisions
• Assist with SOX compliance, including testing and collaboration with external auditors
• Support implementation and testing for SAP's S4

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or budgeting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
