About the position

The Sr Financial Analyst is a critical role within our finance department, responsible for creating the annual operating plan, leading monthly forecasts, and reporting on actuals and variances. This position will work closely with executive team members to understand, model, and communicate resource needs. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure the financial health and efficiency of projects and operations. This role typically reports to a Manager or Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. In this position, you will develop and maintain financial budget and forecasting models for assigned business units. You will analyze and interpret financial information, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and key financial and business metrics. Providing advisory support on assigned business units' strategic initiatives will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also collaborate on FP&A related process improvements, providing input to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of reporting. Additionally, you will prepare fact-based presentations to key business leaders and lead complex financial analysis projects. Supporting ad hoc reporting and analysis will be part of your duties, and you will have the opportunity to mentor and advise Financial Analyst team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains financial budget and forecasting models for assigned business units

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related area
  • 4+ years of work experience in a similar financial or analytical role
  • Strong ability to breakdown and understand financial results, and effectively handle multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with FP&A partners and cross-functional teams
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to tell the financial story using charts, graphs, and other data visualization
