About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst FP&A will play a crucial role in supporting various financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This position is integral to providing insights and analysis on consolidated company financials and will work closely with senior management on special projects and strategic initiatives. The role emphasizes process improvement and data management to ensure reliable and scalable financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvement to streamline and optimize data processes.
• Manage and review large data sets to identify trends and issues.
• Build new and maintain existing financial reporting and provide ad hoc support as needed.
• Provide insight and analysis around consolidated company financials (actuals, forecast, budget, etc.).
• Work closely with senior management on special projects and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong Excel and technical skills, familiarity with SharePoint.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of accounting practices and general finance concepts.
• Experience with financial statements and demonstrated planning and organization skills.
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• Power BI experience is a plus.
• Previous Retail or Manufacturing industry experience.
