About the position

As a Senior Financial Analyst in Global Supply Chain & Logistics (GSCL) Finance at Target, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial performance of Fulfillment Centers across the country. This position is integral to supporting the Group Vice President and all Senior Site Directors within the region, ensuring that financial viability is maintained as Target evolves to a faster and more efficient Supply Chain model. Your contributions will directly impact Target's strategic execution and operational direction-setting, helping to elevate and maintain the company as one of the world's most recognized and beloved retail brands. In this role, you will be responsible for providing ongoing financial support and analytical insights to your clients, which include senior management and cross-functional teams. You will leverage your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conceptualize strategic initiatives and drive financial success. Your ability to work autonomously and motivate yourself will be crucial as you navigate the dynamic retail industry, bringing innovative solutions that enhance financial and operational performance. You will be an active contributor to cross-functional teams, utilizing your skills in analytical rigor and sound decision-making to foster influential partnerships with leaders who value your credibility. The position requires a natural curiosity to ask questions and delve into data to identify outliers and connections that can improve existing tools and processes. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial performance of Fulfillment Centers across the country.
  • Provide ongoing financial support to the Group Vice President and Senior Site Directors.
  • Deliver analytical insights into financial performance to drive continued success.
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams and foster partnerships with management.
  • Utilize analytical skills to conceptualize strategic initiatives and improve existing processes.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree, MBA or equivalent experience in Finance and/or Operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management with high autonomy and motivation.
  • Natural curiosity to explore data for insights and improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills preferred.
