About the position

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Finance Operations, FP&A group, supporting the Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) Property Management team. This role involves driving the annual operating plan, managing forecasting processes, providing analytical support, and maintaining key performance metrics. The analyst will also support purchase orders, month-end close reviews, funding requests, and financial SOPs, while collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve these objectives.

Responsibilities

• Drive the annual operating plan and manage forecasting processes.
• Provide analytical support to stakeholders and maintain key performance metrics.
• Develop and report on financial performance.
• Support the annual launch of purchase orders and month-end close reviews.
• Assist with funding requests and financial SOPs.
• Evaluate and streamline existing operational processes.
• Support the development of new tools, reports, and processes for the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
• 4+ years of transactional accounting experience.
• 4+ years of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing and implementing controls or performing audits over financial reporting.
• Participation in continuous improvement projects to enhance controllership with measurable results.
• MBA or CPA certification.
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management, or analysis.
