About the position

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Finance Operations Department, focusing on financial operations for Medicare Part D members through the Medicare Prescription Payment Program (M3P). This role involves providing expertise in various financial operations areas, mentoring junior team members, and driving the successful implementation and management of the new department.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in areas such as Cash Application, Premium Prioritization, Banking and Treasury, Client Escalations, Dunning, Good Cause Reinstatements, Reconciliations, Client Reporting, or Member Disputes.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues across PBM Finance Operations, Treasury, and Premium Billing.
• Engage directly with account management teams and health plan clients.
• Analyze data to determine conclusions and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in customer service, billing, finance, accounting, or healthcare operations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using SAP
• Experience with bank lockbox check processing and/or credit card processing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle high volume of work within defined turnaround times.
