About the position

The Sr. Financial Analyst for Operations & Product Development at Amazon will play a crucial role in the Devices finance team, engaging with executives and various business units. This position focuses on data collection, financial modeling, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. The analyst will be responsible for developing efficient financial processes and presenting financial summaries to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management
• Developing scalable and efficient financial processes that support the business
• Deriving meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
• Tracking initiatives that span multiple business functions
• Leading ad hoc financial analyses and supporting the financial planning process
• Coordinating and supporting planning and month-end close processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Nice-to-haves

• MBA or CPA
• Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
