About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial strategy and performance of Omnicell's Product & Engineering Finance team. This position focuses on long-term financial planning, product profitability modeling, and providing financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making. The analyst will collaborate with product management and various organizational areas to understand key financial drivers and enhance financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a finance partner with product management to support the development of long-term financial outlooks of Omnicell's products and services
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product profitability models, including detailed variance analysis and margin reporting
  • Interface with various areas of the organization to understand key drivers and provide financial analysis / decision support
  • Utilize large data sets and visual analytics to identify and report emerging trends and key performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders
  • Establish financial models for business case analysis in support of the prioritization of future portfolio investments (R&D)
  • Develop assumption-based frameworks in support of multi-scenario modeling complete with sensitivity analyses to inform strategic decision making and risk management
  • Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Engage in ad-hoc analysis / special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in finance or accounting field
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Organized thinker with a strong process background and excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities both independently and as part of the NA Finance team
  • Possess high level of attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work
  • Strong work ethic, patience, and customer service orientation

Nice-to-haves

  • Business Unit finance / FP&A experience
  • Experience working in a technology or product-driven organization is highly desirable
  • Working with large data sets / variables in finance-based systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle Hyperion)
  • Experience driving decision support through visual analytics (i.e., Tableau)
  • Experience in healthcare or health information services
  • Experience working with subscription software, technology-enabled services, or SaaS revenue streams
  • Experience partnering with product management to understand market segment dynamics
