About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst, Product & Innovation at Under Armour plays a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of FP&A, Product & Global Margin. This position is responsible for leading the annual financial planning process, analyzing monthly results, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and visibility into financial performance. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, analytical skills, and effective communication with senior leaders within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Annual Financial Planning process by building a bottoms-up plan for SG&A and CapEx, working closely with business heads and challenging their assumptions.
  • Own the analysis of monthly results and partner with budget owners to ensure alignment.
  • Support the Senior Manager in driving the monthly Finance Accountability Process, reviewing results, variances, and full year forecasts with the executive leadership team.
  • Partner closely with the Accounting team to manage the month close process, including booking journal entries.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate FP&A team to manage all financial submissions for OpEx & CapEx, including quarterly forecasts and strategic plans.
  • Support HR on the headcount planning process.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical and strategic support to the Senior Manager of FP&A and other business leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A or Business Analysis.
  • Expertise in Excel, financial modeling, cash flow valuation, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
  • Experience with variance analysis required.
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others outside of their direct-reporting lines.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas, results of financial analysis, and actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to achieve optimal goals and improve existing processes.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP/IBPf.
