As a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Revenue & Analysis at Comcast, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the underlying factors that drive Residential Revenue. You will be responsible for providing insights to division and regional leadership, enabling them to make informed business decisions that align with the company's revenue strategy. In this role, you will conduct deep dive analyses to uncover the reasons behind revenue fluctuations, ensuring that your findings are communicated effectively to stakeholders. You will also mentor and partner with other analysts, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth. Your ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner will be essential as you engage with divisional and regional leadership. Additionally, you will be expected to establish and enhance partnerships across functions through special projects and revenue strategy analytics. This position requires a consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion, as well as a commitment to punctual attendance and flexibility in working hours, including nights and weekends as necessary. Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain financial models, reports, and analytics to support strategic business decisions and drive revenue strategy.
  • Provide forecast and budget variance analysis and related reports as needed.
  • Review and analyze revenue business performance, craft and deliver forecast and budget analysis.
  • Develop deep dive analysis to understand the 'why' behind the 'what' for revenue drivers.
  • Mentor and partner with other analysts on ad hoc projects and set pace for financial analyst team.
  • Present key financial performance and ad hoc analysis to divisional and regional leadership.
  • Establish and enhance cross functional and departmental partnerships through special projects and revenue strategy analytics.
  • Provide rationale and understanding behind reports and analysis, relaying them in simple terms.
  • Perform additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively present findings to leadership.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior analysts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with revenue forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Familiarity with the telecommunications or media industry.
