About the position

The Sr Financial Analyst at Wellstar MCG Health is responsible for overseeing the forecasting and budgeting processes across all departments within the Health System. This role involves collaborating with organizational leaders to contribute to strategic planning and facilitate informed decision-making, ultimately enhancing the health and well-being of the community served.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the forecasting and budgeting process for all departments/entities in the Health System.
• Partner with leaders across the organization to contribute to strategic planning efforts.
• Influence positive and informed decision-making through financial analysis.
• Utilize financial analytics and modeling to support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 4 years or more of experience in healthcare finance and analytics, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong skills in financial analytics and modeling.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree.
• 2 years or more of experience in financial and performance metrics.
• Experience with financial reporting systems such as Strata and Workday.
