About the position

The Sr. Financial Analyst at Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc. plays a vital role in analyzing financial results and providing strategic recommendations to enhance the company's financial performance. This position involves preparing and evaluating financial data, supporting financial planning, and collaborating with various departments to drive business efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial planning and responsibilities for the business including the annual budget process and periodic forecasts
  • Assist in development of standardized reporting for the business each month and prepare monthly business updates
  • Prepare monthly reporting on actuals against budget and forecast, and identifying variances and opportunities for improvement
  • Analyze and forecast working capital, inventory, and inventory requirements
  • Provide management with strategic analysis, reporting, and insights
  • Collaborate cross functionally with engineers, procurement, and plant operations to identify and drive business efficiencies
  • Assist Sales in development of revenue budgets and projection and performance reporting
  • Leverage PowerBI in reporting of KPIs
  • Cost function budgeting, forecasting analysis on ad hoc projects
  • Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor
  • Performs other duties as directed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Experience with PowerBI or similar reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution industries
  • Knowledge of fire protection products or related fields
  • Advanced Excel skills
