About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing budgeting and financial activities within the department at Johns Hopkins Health System. This position involves analyzing financial data, developing complex reports for forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The analyst also assists in financial studies related to revenue and expenditure changes and may provide training on budget-related policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee budgeting and financial activities related to the department.
• Analyze department financial data and develop complex reports for forecasting and results analysis.
• Assist in financial studies and analysis regarding projected changes in revenues and expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with department and/or agency regulations and restrictions.
• Train others in budget-related policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field and five (5) years of experience in finance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Master's Degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field and three (3) years of experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
