We are currently seeking a Financial Cost Accounting Analyst / Business Analyst to join our Global Operations Finance team. This role will involve direct engagement with the Global Operations business unit and Segment Business Units to effectively manage the costs associated with inventory and global manufacturing processes. These processes are crucial for achieving the company's revenue, margin, supply chain, and operating expense targets. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a results-driven mindset, a strong sense of teamwork, a positive outlook, and excellent executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial models to support quarterly, annual, and long-range planning for Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold.
  • Support the intra-quarter forecast/outlook process.
  • Assist in driving executive presentations for all financial-related inputs.
  • Support Inventory Standards costing.
  • Provide support for monthly reports for executive management.
  • Compile inventory reconciliations.
  • Conduct spend analysis.
  • Provide supporting schedules for corporate accounting.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis, reporting, and projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong financial modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage a wide range of initiatives.
  • Good understanding of financial concepts and general knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
  • Excellent understanding of financial planning & reporting systems; SAP experience is preferable.
  • SQL, data mining, and database management skills are helpful.
  • Prior experience in supporting global manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Experience working with global cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial planning & reporting systems other than SAP.
  • Familiarity with advanced data analysis techniques.
