About the position

The Sr Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in the financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making processes within the finance department. This position is responsible for creating the annual operating plan, leading monthly forecasts, and reporting on actuals and variances. The analyst will collaborate closely with executive team members and cross-functional teams to ensure the financial health and efficiency of projects and operations, all while typically working in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains financial budget and forecasting models for assigned business units
• Analyzes and interprets financial information, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and key financial and business metrics
• Provides advisory support on assigned business units' strategic initiatives
• Collaborate on FP&A related process improvements; provide input to improve efficiency and accuracy of reporting
• Prepares fact-based presentations to key business leaders
• Leads complex financial analysis projects
• Support ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Mentors and advises Financial Analyst team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related area
• 4+ years of work experience in a similar financial or analytical role
