About the position

We are in the search for a Sr. Financial Analyst to be a part of our team located in Franklin, Tennessee. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in influencing strategic decision-making, managing the budget and forecasting process, and contributing to board reporting. You will be deeply involved in financial modeling and analysis, providing actionable insights across the organization. This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of business systems and the ability to translate complex financial analyses to non-financial team members. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate customer credit records and processing customer credit applications efficiently. Your role will involve creating presentations and providing support for leadership, board packages, and strategic initiatives, ensuring that the financial health of the organization is communicated effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop rigorous processes for financial reporting and analyses.
  • Prepare comprehensive analyses of company performance and key metrics.
  • Create and maintain the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and various financial models.
  • Prepare business cases, pricing scenarios, and other analyses as requested by department leaders.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and other reports that provide actionable insights across the organization.
  • Create presentations and provide support for leadership, board packages, and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.
  • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records.
  • Translate complex financial analyses to non-financial team members.

Requirements

  • Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Business Systems
  • Proficiency in Confluence is desired
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is required
  • Familiarity with Crystal Reports is advantageous
  • Skilled in Data Mining Techniques
  • Experience with the 'About Time' software is a plus
  • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions
  • Prior experience in Auditing is preferred
  • Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential
  • Knowledge of Capital Management is advantageous
  • Experience with SAAS - Software As A Service is a must-have
  • Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Must have a strong work ethic and high level of integrity
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required
  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
  • Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience in a senior financial analyst role or similar is preferred.
