About the position

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Braintree, Massachusetts. This role is vital in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, requiring the successful applicant to perform a variety of financial analyses and reporting tasks. The position entails a strong focus on data mining, capital management, and using various business systems to ensure effective financial management within the organization. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive data mining to gather critical financial information for decision-making processes. This includes utilizing business systems such as CRM and Confluence to manage and organize financial data effectively. The analyst will prepare detailed financial reports and present them to the CEO and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring that the information is clear and actionable. In addition to reporting, the role involves auditing responsibilities to ensure adherence to accounting functions and regulatory standards. The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the budget processes, including planning, tracking, and reporting. The position requires applying knowledge of 'About Time' software for efficient time and project management, as well as using Crystal Reports to generate dynamic, actionable financial reports. The analyst will provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support capital management strategies and will assume an interim role in managing financial operations and reporting in the absence of the Director of Finance. Collaboration with other senior financial roles is essential to ensure a smooth transition during hiring processes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry
  • Proficient in Business Systems and CRM
  • Knowledge of Confluence and Crystal Reports
  • Strong understanding of Data Mining Techniques and Capital Management
  • Familiarity with About Time software
  • Solid experience with Accounting Functions and Auditing
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Budget Processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
