About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in the Company's financial planning and analysis activities, focusing on the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets. This position involves collaboration with regional and corporate functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting, as well as the development of productivity metrics and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation of the consolidated monthly analysis and associated deliverables, working closely with regional and corporate functions.
  • Assisting with the development, analysis, and reporting of productivity metrics and the facilitation of quarterly regional review reporting.
  • Assisting with the development, analysis, and reporting for quarterly Board of Director meetings and the external earnings release.
  • Assisting with the preparation of the consolidated annual budget and associated analysis; working closely with regional and corporate functions.
  • Assisting with the preparation of consolidated quarterly forecasts and associated analysis; working closely with regional and corporate functions.
  • Continually assess effectiveness and efficiency of the Company's analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyzing the impact on the Company's budget and forecasts of non-routine events and transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, customer contracts, and changes in benefit plans, as directed.
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial presentations to be used by Senior Management, the Audit Committee, and Board of Directors, as directed.
  • Other financial reporting projects, as required.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 - 10 years related experience.
  • BS in Accounting or Business Administration required.
  • CPA/MBA preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced computer skills including Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite; experience in Microsoft Dynamics-GP ERP environment and Adaptive Planning a plus.
