About the position

The Sr. Financial Systems Analyst at SpaceX is responsible for configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP to support evolving business processes in finance and operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge to enhance system capabilities and improve operational efficiency. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to align system functionalities with business objectives and provide ongoing support for day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional domain expertise in Finance and Operations within Microsoft D365
  • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives
  • Evaluate standard functionality in D365 to leverage the system for process improvements
  • Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics ERP to achieve the recommended business requirements
  • Provide support for the day-to-day operations of the Dynamics 365 and third-party applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, physics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, or other technical discipline
  • 4+ years of combined work experience as a developer, business systems analyst or product manager, with at least 2 of those years in a finance or supply chain domain
  • Experience with Dynamics AX
  • Experience with Dynamics 365
  • Experience with SQL

Nice-to-haves

  • ERP and related systems development or implementation of Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash Cycle or Financial Systems
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority or structure
  • Experience working in fast paced development environments
  • Proven track record of leading functional groups, defining, documenting, and deploying process change and associated systems capabilities
  • Experience working with a development team creating and maintaining software solutions
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving and technical skills with the ability to create original and creative solutions
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communications skills
