About the position

The Corporate FP&A Senior Analyst II plays a crucial role in providing analytical support and process leadership for the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis department. This position is integral to the development of company-wide forecasts, operating plans, long-range strategic plans, and reporting capabilities. The Senior Analyst will work closely with Business and Corporate finance teams to deliver timely and accurate financial information to key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, financial acumen, teamwork, leadership, and a robust analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships within the organization and with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with functional objectives.
  • Understand the strategic direction of the company's businesses and execute functional strategies to support business results.
  • Partner with various levels within the Finance organization to achieve department objectives.
  • Identify actionable financial improvement initiatives through an outside-in approach.
  • Construct forward-looking financial statements with strong analytical insights for executive teams.
  • Support the development of the total company income statement and balance sheet for monthly forecasts and annual operating plans.
  • Assist in developing the company's long-term strategic financial plan through macro-economic scenarios and financial modeling.
  • Lead enterprise forecasting consolidation processes and seek opportunities for improvements.
  • Understand key business drivers and develop comprehensive narratives through collaboration and analysis.
  • Communicate key themes and insights with management and executive presence.
  • Drive accountability and attention to detail within the corporate FP&A team.
  • Provide value-added financial insights through ad hoc analytics and scorecarding.
  • Compile, analyze, and synthesize data for complex financial projects.
  • Provide insightful analytics that anticipate change and drive decision-making.
  • Exercise judgment to prepare business recommendations based on sound financial analysis.
  • Invest in personal growth and development and inspire teamwork across finance functions.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of finance and analytical experience in a large, multi-national corporation.
