About the position

As a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst at Sprinklr, you will play a crucial role in understanding the business from end-to-end. This includes gathering bottom-up data from various business partners to support strategic planning, budgeting, and financial modeling across multiple dimensions. You will proactively monitor revenue performance and manage a data-driven revenue forecast by analyzing variances, surfacing insights, and communicating key risks, opportunities, and business drivers. Your responsibilities will also include managing short and long-term key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial trends in partnership with business leadership to optimize productivity, establish financial discipline, and influence executive decision-making. In this role, you will distill complex financial analyses for stakeholders and develop KPI monitoring to support data-driven decision-making and evaluate the effectiveness of current plans. Building strong relationships cross-functionally will be essential as you support month-end close activities, quarterly earnings, and annual planning. You will continually drive forecast accuracy, improve processes and automation, and establish rigor in measuring and scaling the business. Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making, acting as a role model and trusted advisor to all other members of the finance team, ensuring a high degree of quality, timeliness, and accuracy in your work.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the business end-to-end, including bottom-up data gathering from business partners to support strategic planning, budgeting, and financial models holistically and across multiple dimensions.
  • Proactively monitor revenue performance and manage data-driven revenue forecast by analyzing variances, surfacing insights, and communicating key risks, opportunities, and business drivers.
  • Manage short/long term key performance indicators and financial trends in partnership with business partner leadership to optimize productivity, establish financial discipline and influence executive decision-making.
  • Distill complex financial analyses to stakeholders and develop KPI monitoring to support data driven decision-making and evaluate the effectiveness of current plans.
  • Build strong relationships cross-functionally to support month-end close activities, quarterly earnings, and annual planning.
  • Continually drive forecast accuracy, improve processes and automation, and establish rigor in measuring and scaling the business.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decision making.
  • Be a role model and 'trusted hand' to all other members of the finance team. Ensure a high degree of quality, timeliness, and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with increasing level of responsibility, preferably with SaaS experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work optimally with senior leadership team members (Sr. Managers, Directors, VPs) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver within short/tight deadlines and with high precision.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, self-motivated and data driven mindset with track record of successful financial modeling, large datasets and advanced Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building and maintaining KPIs and capacity models a plus.
  • Experience with Adaptive, NetSuite, and Salesforce (including CPQ) preferred.
