The Sr. FP&A Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting Mueller's mission to provide critical water infrastructure products. This position involves working cross-functionally with various departments, utilizing financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses that drive business decisions. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating creativity and curiosity while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models and analysis with minimal guidance, drawing conclusions and making recommendations that deliver results.
• Educate functional partners on financial and non-financial data points and the implications of their decisions to drive business decisions.
• Make thoughtful judgment calls in ambiguous situations where data is either unavailable or unclear.
• Work with functional teams to ensure key data is accurate, automated, timely, and relevant.
• Collaborate in teams and cross-functional environments with competing priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 3+ years' experience in financial analysis or related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with database administration
• Familiarity with Amazon QuickSight (or equivalent business intelligence tool), Hyperion, and JD Edwards.
