About the position

The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the manufacturing industry by managing various accounting functions, overseeing capital management, and leading the business unit budget processes. This position requires proficiency in financial software tools and a strong understanding of financial modeling and forecasting to ensure the financial stability and success of the business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize OneStream, PowerBI, Oracle, and other systems to streamline accounting functions
  • Take charge of the annual budget process and ensure all aspects are covered
  • Work closely with the business unit to manage budget processes and maintain financial stability
  • Perform capital management tasks to ensure resources are allocated efficiently
  • Use OneStream, Excel Formulas, Excel VBA, and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data
  • Develop and implement cash flow modeling techniques for accurate forecasting
  • Use forecasting and modeling tools to predict future financial trends
  • Utilize financial modeling to analyze business performance and suggest improvements
  • Employ SQL and Macros to manipulate and analyze large data sets
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure business financial goals are met

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adaptive Insights and OneStream
  • Sound knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions and Annual Budget
  • Experience with Budget Processes and Business Unit
  • Ability to perform Capital Management tasks
  • Familiarity with Excel Formulas, Excel VBA, and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Cash Flow Modeling, Forecasting & Modeling, and Financial Modeling
  • Proficiency in SQL and Macros
  • Understanding of Budgeting - Forecasting and Oracle Financials
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Proven ability to work in a team and independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role.
