About the position

The Sr. Front End Developer (React) position at The Judge Group Inc. involves working as a UI Developer within a product team focused on developing custom software capabilities for an Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Platform. The role emphasizes collaboration within an Agile Scrum team, requiring a strong understanding of agile practices and the ability to deliver deployable software in short sprints. Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and implementing custom software capabilities for an Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Platform with limited oversight
• Acting as a member of a product team supporting teammates and collaborating with a positive attitude to ensure product and team success
• Providing significant improvements to the platform being supported
• Active participation in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases
• Analyzing complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving scheduling, technology, and methodology
• Ensuring product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet objectives, and providing periodic performance reports
• Providing input on best practices and procedures creation
• Developing new and refining existing processes to enhance quality and productivity

Requirements

• College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with at least an interim DOD Secret clearance or higher
• At least seven (7) years of related technical experience, with software design, development and implementation
• Experience with TypeScript and React
• Familiarity with any of the following: GO, Kubernetes, Python, GITLab
• Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing highly creative solutions
• Ability to apply estimation techniques to software development efforts
• Ability to identify and manage risk
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team
• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a self-starter attitude
