We are seeking a Sr. Front-End Developer (React) to join our team for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is based in Chicago, IL, requiring 3 days onsite per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, and development of scalable front-end solutions across the full secure software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a key member of a cross-functional team, you will follow Agile development methodologies and work closely with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries, with a strong emphasis on JAVA and React. In this position, you will design and develop effective RESTful services and APIs, focusing on microservices and micro-frontends. You will also be tasked with designing detailed technical solutions using the best available technologies, developing and unit testing components, and consulting with business partners to synthesize requirements into technical designs. It is essential to ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are considered when architecting solutions. You will collaborate with architects, designers, and enterprise framework groups to deliver the best solutions for both business and IT needs, ensuring that the code meets standards and is tested appropriately.
